Framecrete AAC panels are made from natural materials. The exceptional thermal insulation of AAC significantly reduces a home's energy consumption over its lifetime.

How is this system better than traditional concrete blocks?

The Framecrete system offers significant advantages over traditional block construction. Our Reinforced Blocks alone can result in a 50% saving in steel rebar and concrete compared to CMU blocks. Overall, the system is three times lighter, which reduces structural load and labor costs. It also provides superior thermal insulation and can be constructed up to 50% faster, meaning a house frame can be erected in approximately 6 hours.

Will my home look different from a normal house?

Your home will look like a normal home, only better. Because steel frames are dimensionally stable and do not warp, sag, or twist over time, the walls, ceilings, and roofs remain straight and free of ripples or bumps. The strength of steel also allows for the design of larger open-plan spaces, enhancing the aesthetic possibilities.

Is a steel frame noisy or does it expand much in the heat?

No. In a properly constructed and insulated Framecrete home, noise from the frame is highly unlikely. Steel does not change state or settle during its lifespan, which also means you will have fewer issues with movement, such as sticking doors and windows.

Is a steel-framed house safe during a lightning storm?

Yes, it is very safe. Steel is a positive conductor to the earth, so if lightning strikes, the energy is conducted straight to the ground. The energy is not released destructively within the frame as it might be in a conventionally framed structure.

Can I hang heavy items like cabinets or a TV on the walls?

Absolutely. Our partition wall panels are designed to support the direct attachment of heavy loads like TVs and cabinets without needing additional reinforcement. For other walls, heavy items can be screwed directly into a steel stud, which can be easily located with a simple magnet.
